The End of Deep Throat?
Apparently, Bob Woodward has informed his editor that Deep Throat, the man who brought down Nixon and indavertently inspired one of the most successful porn films of all time, is ill. In fact, Woodward has reportedly written D.T.'s obit and speculation is rampant that the name of the world's most famous unnamed source will finally be revealed.

at this point, does it make a difference? will knowing who Deep Throat is affect Nixon's chances of getting back into office, being that Nixon's dead and all? this is a whimper, not a bang.
besides, i think that if you watch the movie/read the book, you'll find that a lot of solid journalism (making calls, talking with people, asking tough questions) pushed the situation to its conclusion more than one guy feeding carl and bob information.
